Adaptogenics and healing the body~ Recipe for Coffee Beautifying Tonic

Some of my greatest lessons in nutrition have come from Raw Vegan Meet-ups, and a juice fast with Dan McDonald, lectures from Dr. Brian Clement, Ronnie Landis, Mikaelë Holzer and Bethanne Wanamaker. If you don’t have local raw meet-ups there are plenty of books to learn from too. So on to Adaptogens which I learned about from these fabulous people.

“Adaptogens help the body to be in harmony with its environment by adapting to stress and change. Mineral-dense adaptogens allow your body to absorb nutrients, maintaining the body’s optimum energy and metabolism, increasing immunity and libido, easing inflammation, and balancing depression and anxiety. ” Amanda Bacon, Founder of Moon Juice
