Real beauty is not causing harm to animals–using cosmetics tested on animals is very cruel. Education is key, many women do not know about the inherent cruelty involved in cosmetics. So now is the time to make the switch to cruelty-free products. Why would you want to choose products not tested on animals? It’s crazy to think that animal experiments for cosmetics and household products still exist when non-animal testing methods exist and are more reliable, but think about it like a business, breeding the rabbits selling the cages, all the tools of torment, equal greed and our governments are a part of it.
Human skin cultures can be grown and purchased for skin irritation testing, instead we burn the cornea of a rabbit’s eye, when we could drop it into cornea like-3D tissue structures produced from humans. The horror goes on for all products with different methods of torture.
PETA has worked so hard on animal testing, they did a big presentation here at my home with their lead scientists and lawyers about how hard they are working to abolish this cruelty at a Fundraiser. I applaud all the work they are doing and one day hopefully sooner than later it will be abolished.
The good news is we have plenty of companies that do not test on animals! This is PETA’s link to check for companies that do not and companies that still do. Below is a short list of products that I use, I hope that you find it helpful. You can also look at labels for the bunny logo, or that say NO ANIMAL TESTING.

expensive but never had outbreaks again!
The more organic a line the better for you and the planet, your skin takes in everything. Drug store brands are now more cruelty-free please check PETA’s link above for any brands that you might like. Last but very important please never buy MINK lashes. They are from horrid mink farms, no matter what they tell you, faux lashes are incredible without the cruelty.
Beauty tips: A vegan whole-foods plant-based diet. Water, and plenty of vegan protein, veggies, fruits and green juices! A huge benefit for your skin! I always do as much as possible, Organic everything! I take Estrodial to preserve skin and for lubrication; my doctor mixes with Testerone and Progesterone, DHEA is compounded at a Compounding Pharmacy, so very natural plant sources. I also use Vegan Collagen by Moonjuice daily. Lasers for Collagen on occasion. Clay masks for skin, facials are always great for maintenance. At home I have an amazing clay mask by Sonäge, Tulsi Soothing Tricks Clay Mask and the lasers that help. Vitamins I use: Vitamins B12, Calcium, Omegas are crucial for skin; Flax and Algae supplement, Biotin and Seamoss for hair and nails.
Household products: I use Seventh Generation and also their recycled Paper Towels, TP and cleaners…They are environmentally and animal friendly. Also, Method brand for cleaners. I use natural Organic Olive Oil and Lemon for wood polisher. The window cleaner is not easy to find a good formula, do you have one? Also, Method cleaners for silver etc… That’s it! Please let me know if you’d like more information. This is such a crucial topic and I know that after hearing of the cruelty you’ll be Cruelty-Free.
