SUPPLEMENTATION
My recent blood tests shows (March 2015) that I am low in Vitamin D, an essential vitamin! Decreased Vitamin D has been associated with hypertension, inflammation and the metabolic syndrome, and even cardiovascular health. My doctor’s recommendation is 5,000 IU units per day. Everyone is different you should have your levels checked. If it is really low 10,000 IU’s for two weeks, then down to 5,000. Please check with you doctor.
